Colder Products’ diverse coupling applications are used in a wide variety of lab applications because they allow technicians to easily replace empty bottles of the chemicals or reagents used in test analysis or the cleaning of fluid lines between tests. Couplings provide fast and easy connections and disconnections, so if problems do occur during testing, there is no need to discard the entire assembled system, which saves the lab both time and money.

Many of Colder’s couplings feature hose barbs, which can be used to adapt to larger ID tubing when needed. Colder also offers a 1/4-28 port which adapts to micro bore tubing using industry standard compression nuts or chromatography fittings. Couplings with internal shutoff valves keep the lines primed and the lab clean, eliminating the need for additional check valves. These internal shutoff valves also enable fluid to be contained within a closed system, helping to prevent spills and leaks while providing a cleaner and safer process.
