Colder's plastic couplings cover a wide variety of general-purpose applications. They are available in 1/8", 1/4", 9/32" and 1/2" nominal flow. These plastic couplings feature the Colder thumb latch, so the couplings are easier to use than ball-and-sleeve designs. One-hand connection and disconnection and integral terminations make the plastic coupling the choice for ease of use and manufacture.
Medical-grade material meets the most stringent requirements such as USP Class VI, MEM elution, agarose overlay, hemolysis in vitro and USP physicochemical tests.
The innovative design allows a quick and easy sterile connection between biopharmaceutical processing equipment and disposable bag and tube assemblies. Media can be safely transferred without the cleaning and validation concerns associated with reusable components.
For safe extraction of fluids from jerry cans, drums and intermediate bulk containers (IBCs), Colder offers quick disconnect couplings and adaptors ranging in size and material. The durable and reliable DrumQuik® products can be easily used with common bung closures and the adaptors are offered in single and dual ports, with dip-tubes included.
Colder's chrome-plated brass couplings are offered in 1/8" and 1/4" nominal flow. These couplings are designed for durability and an attractive appearance. Colder also offers aluminum couplings in 3/8" and 5/8" nominal flow. These couplings are designed for high performance and high flow.
Colder Products Company manufactures many products specifically for the Food & Beverage market. All of these products are listed with NSF under C-2 and are made from FDA approved materials. All of our products are available with built-in shut-off valves that automatically shut off the media, whether it's air or water, when you disconnect the coupling.
Colder offers a variety of ancillary components to enhance your fluid handling system. From fittings and luers to PTF nuts and dust caps, we carry the accessories and replacement parts you need, when you need them.
RFID Connections are Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) enabled couplings with added electronics that measure and identify critical parameters. The IdentiQuik™ series of couplings utilize RFID technology to automatically identify fluid characteristics and capture data from point-of-origin to point of use.
Colder's Applications Engineering Team works with customers around the world to design custom coupling solutions to solve specific problems and improve product performance. We have solid modeling capabilities, prototype equipment, an expansive test lab and thousands of solutions.
