PMC12 SeriesPMC12 Series polypropylene couplings have a 1/8" flow are used in a wide variety of general-purpose applications. These quick disconnect couplings offer many of the same configuration options as acetal PMC couplings but the polypropylene material adds greater chemical resistance for more demanding applications. PMC12 couplings are also gamma sterilizable. Patented and patent pending. These couplings offer the flexibility of multiple configurations and terminations and mate with both PMC acetal and LC metal couplings. | Available TerminationsSelect your termination or part type from the list below. | | Coupling Dimensions | Features & Benefits | Features | Benefits | | Polypropylene material | | Chemically resistant and gamma sterilizable | | EPDM o-ring | | Greater chemical resistance | | Colder thumb latch | | One-hand connection and disconnection | | Integral terminations | | Fewer leak points, shorter assemblies, faster installations | | Specifications | Pressure: | Vacuum to 120 psi, 8.3 bar | | Temperature: | -32°F to 160°F, 0°C to 71 °C | | Materials: | | Main components and valves: | Polypropylene | | Thumb Latch: | Stainless steel | | Valve spring: | 316 stainless steel | | External springs and pin: | Stainless steel | | O-rings: | EPDM | | Color: | Almond | | Tubing range: | 1/16" to 1/4", 1.6mm to 6.4mm | | | | | | | | | | | WARNING: Pressure, temperature, chemicals and operating environment can affect the performance of couplings. It is the customer’s responsibility to test the suitability of Colder products in their own application conditions. Use the graph above as a guide. Based on sealing performance after 72 hours of exposure to pressure and temperature. | | CV Value |
